Our series of articles on how to attract free traffic to your home business website continues with four extra internet marketing techniques for attracting traffic. The first method we’ll look at is setting up a Google webmaster account.

There are many advantages of having a Google webmaster account. A Google Webmaster account allows you to find the top Google searches for your website, detect errors found by Googlebot, find issues with your website content, for example missing tags, submit a sitemap, find out how many backlinks you have, remove content from the Google index and generate a robots.txt file.

Clicking the “Diagnostics” link and clicking on “Web Crawl” allows you to see if there have been any problems when Google attempted to crawl your website. You can also click “Content Analysis” to see if Google has any recommendations. Click the “Statistics” link and you will see a lot of information about your site such as the top searches and the anchor text for your backlinks.

Click on “Links” to view information about your backlinks including the number of links pointing to each page on your website. And finally by clicking the “Sitemap” link you can submit a site map for your website. You should check your account on a regular basis, monthly, to check for errors on your website, check out the top searches as well as the number of backlinks you have.

A second internet marketing technique to help drive free traffic to your website is by setting up an Onlywire Account. Onlywire is free to use and is a great way to get a ton of backlinks and improve your search engine rankings. Onlywire.com shows you how to set up your account. My third recommendation for driving free traffic to your home page is set up a LinkedIn Account. LinkedIn is a professional networking website which allows you to link to other people online. This allows you to get a backlink from your profile and network with other people who may visit your home business opportunity. Another benefit of LinkedIn is that it allows you to network with people who share similar interests such as home business opportunities. You can choose the people with whom you want to network.

The fourth technique for increasing your website traffic is joining AddThis. AddThis makes it easy for your potential customers to add your site to their favorites tab as well as bookmark and share your content to their favorite social sites. A major benefit of AddThis is the powerful analytics enabling you to learn how and where your visitors are sharing your content. Joining is very easy and straight forward.

These are four more great ways to increase traffic to your home business website and help make your home business opportunity a success.

This is my new Blog and having been away from it for a couple of years it’s great to be back because I really enjoy it. Just to tell you something about myself, my wife and I are currently working with Autistic adults in the state of Maine and we love it. Although we’re from Canada, originally from Newfoundland, this is our second stint working in Maine and the two men we are working with this time around are great. We’ve become very attached to these young men and we consider ourselves to be a family. Actually our job title is that of Therapeutic Foster Parents and of course we take it very seriously. One of the main reasons we take it so seriously is that we are advocates for these young men because at times they can’t speak for themselves.

The sad part about our job here in Maine is that we have to leave the country after 18 months. The reason for this being the company who hired us and sponsored us into the US could only get us into the country by way of a Training Visa with the main condition being we have to leave after 18 months. We were here under the same circumstances in 2007 and had to leave the guys we were caring for at that time at the end of 2008.

This of course was very difficult for the three men we were working with and living with at the time and it was also very difficult for us because we became very attached and as I mentioned earlier we became a family. One of the main benefits of coming back is that we get to see the guys we worked with on our first visit and we also get to do what we enjoy which is caring for and helping these young men.

Because of our love for what we do and for the people we work with I will be dedicating a Page on this website to Autism and to the people who live with it on a daily basis. I’m hoping this will help educate people who aren’t familiar with what is fast becoming a global concern and help to raise funds for research.

The other objective of this website is to offer Home Business advice and present opportunities to people who are interested in making a legitimate living by working from home.
