In a previous article we looked at four ways to get free website traffic to your home based business website. We examined classified advertising, article marketing, social media marketing and creating a free e-book to help drive traffic. This article will look at four additional methods of attracting free targeted website traffic.<\/p>\n

The first free internet marketing technique we’ll look at is adding more backlinks for your site. You can add backlinks using several different methods including article marketing which we explored in a previous editorial. Getting good backlinks to your website will help to increase the overall search engine rank of your website. This system involves getting backlinks from sites which have a high page rank. This simply means finding several sites which rank high in Google’s Page Rank such as Blogger.com and StatCounter.com, register and complete your profile being sure to include your website url in the anchor text. Try to add several of these backlinks on a daily basis and you’ll soon see a difference in your daily traffic totals.<\/p>\n

The next free internet marketing method to help generate traffic involves registering with Twitter. Joining Twitter is a great way to make new friends and a great way to get your name and your home business name recognized online. Register as a new user and make your first tweet announcing you have joined. Every time you update your blog make another tweet to let your followers know you have updated your information. The next step is to add people to follow on Twitter. You can choose people who are aligned with your interests and who would more likely be interested in your home business opportunity. Twitter is a part of the new web 2.0 and is a piece of a huge market which we would be foolish to ignore.<\/p>\n

Another way to attract free website traffic is to write product reviews. A well written product review can help drive traffic to your home business website. People are always looking for experienced, impartial opinions on a product or service they may be considering purchasing or have decided to buy. They may be looking for reassurance that they made the correct decision or looking for information to help them decide whether or not to purchase. Be sure to write your review about a product or service you have experience with and enjoy using.<\/p>\n

A second important point to remember is what you are writing is a product review and not a sales pitch and it shouldn’t come across as such. If it sounds like a pitch you will loose the confidence of your readers and your opinion will offer very little in the way of value to your audience. The end result will be a lost opportunity for any repeat traffic. Once you’ve finished your review publish it on your blog. Be sure to include the product name and the fact that this is a review in your blog title and mention it two or three times throughout your blog post. This will help you get ranked in the search engines.<\/p>\n

The final free internet marketing technique we will examine is joining several popular Forums. By joining these forums and by making regular thoughtful posts you will begin to build a reputation online and your name as well as your home business will become more recognizable on the web. You will get a backlink from your profile and signature links in the forum which will help to increase your search engine rank. You also have the chance to expose your website to other people who haven’t seen it before.<\/p>\n

This is my new Blog and having been away from it for a couple of years it’s great to be back because I really enjoy it. Just to tell you something about myself, my wife and I are currently working with Autistic adults in the state of Maine and we love it. Although we’re from Canada, originally from Newfoundland, this is our second stint working in Maine and the two men we are working with this time around are great. We’ve become very attached to these young men and we consider ourselves to be a family. Actually our job title is that of Therapeutic Foster Parents and of course we take it very seriously. One of the main reasons we take it so seriously is that we are advocates for these young men because at times they can’t speak for themselves.<\/p>\n

The sad part about our job here in Maine is that we have to leave the country after 18 months. The reason for this being the company who hired us and sponsored us into the US could only get us into the country by way of a Training Visa with the main condition being we have to leave after 18 months. We were here under the same circumstances in 2007 and had to leave the guys we were caring for at that time at the end of 2008.<\/p>\n

This of course was very difficult for the three men we were working with and living with at the time and it was also very difficult for us because we became very attached and as I mentioned earlier we became a family. One of the main benefits of coming back is that we get to see the guys we worked with on our first visit and we also get to do what we enjoy which is caring for and helping these young men.<\/p>\n

Because of our love for what we do and for the people we work with I will be dedicating a Page on this website to Autism<\/a> and to the people who live with it on a daily basis. I’m hoping this will help educate people who aren’t familiar with what is fast becoming a global concern and help to raise funds for research.<\/p>\n

The other objective of this website is to offer <\/strong>Home Business advice<\/strong><\/a> and present opportunities to people who are interested in making a legitimate living by working from home.<\/p>\n

In the following videos you will see many examples of this outlook on life as portrayed by local entertainers performing at what we call “Kitchen Parties”.<\/p>\n

These are events where neighbours come together to have a few drinks and entertain one another through song and dance. Please take the time to have a look. <\/p>\n
